Itinerary

DAY 1 – SIN/KUL – ANURADHAPURA / DAMBULLA

Arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport. Meet and greet by our local professional tour guide
• Upon arriving to Anuradhapura, commence city tour
• Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi & Mihintale Raja Maha Viharaya

DAY 2 – SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA – SIGIRIYA

• Sigiriya Rock Fortress – is a “UNESCO World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky”
• Ancient City of Polonnaruwa – another “UNESCO World Heritage Site” was the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th – 13th Centuries

DAY 3 – SIGIRIYA – KANDY

• Dambulla Cave Temples – is a vast isolated rock mass 500 feet high and a mile around the base.
• Spice Garden in Matal
• Later in the evening, commence a city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Centre and the Gem museum.

DAY 4 – KANDY –  NUWARA ELIYA

• Nuwara Eliya – The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations
• All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence, houses like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions. The Victoria Park, in the middle of the town, is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic. Seasons may be absent elsewhere in Sri Lanka, but here you can read them by the flowers, which bloom in the spring (March to May) and the fall (August and September).

DAY 5 – NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – YALA

• After breakfast, board a Scenic train ride to Ella at 08.53 AM, pass through the dense forest, vibrant green tea fields, up to the mountains, over bridges and local villages.
• 9 Arches bridge also known as the ‘Bridge in the Sky’

DAY 6 – YALA – MIRISSA

• Yala (National Park)
• Afterwards leave for Mirissa for your overnight stay.

DAY 7 – MIRISSA – GALLE – COLOMBO

• Experience Whale/Dolphin Watching in Mirissa with Packet Breakfast. **Subject to weather condition**
• Thereafter leave for Colombo & make a brief stop at Weligama to witness the Stilt Fisherman & also make a stop at the Coconut Tree Hill. 
• City tour of Galle, The Dutch Fort – Galle
• City tour of Colombo, the business and commercial center and the new capital is Sri /Jayewardenepura Kott.

Meals: B / L / Sri Lankan Lagoon Crab Dinner at Chinese Restaurant

DAY 8 – COLOMBO – SIN/KUL

• After Breakfast, leave for airport to connect with your departure flight.
